Description:

Tibet, 12th/ 13th c.
H. 14,3 cm
Standing in tribhanga on a lotus base with his right hand raised in front of his chest supporting the vajra while the left is stretched down holding the stem of a lotus, wearing dhoti incised with a floral pattern and fastened around his waist with a belt, scarf draped around his shoulders with its streamers encircling both arms and their finials falling down to both sides of his body, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, his hair combed in a chignon topped with a lotus flower and secured with a tiara decorated with a pair of pattras.
